Why go abroad to play

Court time in the UK is scarce, expensive and indoors. Abroad it isn't.

A peak-time UK court costs a fortune and you still queue for it. On a VamosPadel trip you get more court hours in five days than most club players get in two months — outdoors, in shorts, with a coach who actually watches you play.

01

Guaranteed game time

Every day has booked courts, structured coaching and organised matches. No hunting for a fourth.

02

Levelled groups

You tell us your standard, we group you so matches are competitive rather than one-sided.

03

Solo-friendly

Over half our travellers come alone or as a pair. Everyone plays with everyone.

04

UK-run, UK hours

British organisers, English-speaking coaches, WhatsApp group live from booking to landing.

Technical blocks run in the morning while the courts are cool — video review over lunch, match play in the afternoon.

Fixed-date trips

Three destinations, one format that works.

Prices are per person, based on two sharing. Flights are excluded so you can fly from your own airport on points, budget or business.

What's included

Everything except the flights — deliberately.

UK players fly from Gatwick, Manchester, Edinburgh and everywhere between. Leaving flights out means you use your own airport, airline and points, and pay less than a packaged charter.

Accommodation

5–6 nights, breakfast included, twin-share or a single supplement if you'd rather.

All court fees

Every booked hour is paid for — coaching sessions, match play and open-court time.

Pro coaching

12–18 hours of English-speaking coaching, max 4 players per coach, with video feedback.

Levelled match play

Organised americano, mexicano and mixed-in doubles so nobody sits out.

Social programme

Welcome dinner, tapas night, a local club mixer and the closing tournament.

Local transfers

Airport transfers on arrival and departure days, plus transport to away courts.

Host on the ground

A VamosPadel host travels with every group and runs the WhatsApp group throughout.

Balls and loan rackets

Match balls provided, plus demo rackets from our partner brands if you want to try before you buy.

Not included: flights, travel insurance (required), lunches and dinners outside the social programme, and anything from the hotel minibar you'd rather we didn't ask about.

Levels

Tell us honestly where you are. The week works better for everyone.

Before you travel you complete a two-minute self-assessment. We use it to build coaching groups and match pools, then adjust after day one when we've seen you play.

Level 1

New to padel

You've played a handful of times or come from tennis. Focus on grip, the wall, and scoring without thinking about it.

Level 2

Club improver

Regular social player. Focus on bandeja, court position, and learning when to slow the point down.

Level 3

Competitive

League or box-league player. Focus on pace control, vibora, and pressuring the net as a pair.

Level 4

Advanced

4.0+ and playing to win. Tactical patterns, serve-and-volley pressure, and sparring with local club teams.

From the groups

What UK players say when they get home.

★★★★★

More padel in five days than I'd played since April. The coaching was genuinely technical, not just feeding balls, and the levelling meant every match was close.

Dan H. — Bristol · Marbella Winter Sun

★★★★★

We booked as a pair and were nervous about being the weakest there. Within a day we were mixed in with everyone and nobody cared. Faultlessly organised.

Priya & Tom — Manchester · Algarve Improver Camp

★★★★★

Garda was the right call — serious morning sessions, then a proper lunch and a swim. My wife doesn't play and still had the better week of the two of us.

Alastair G. — Edinburgh · Garda Padel

Practical questions

The things people email us before booking.

Why aren't flights included?

Because UK players fly from everywhere. Excluding flights lets you leave from your nearest airport, use airline points or pick a budget fare, and it usually works out cheaper than a bundled package. We publish the recommended arrival and departure windows for each trip, and the group WhatsApp makes it easy to share transfers with people on the same flight.

I don't have a partner to travel with. Is that a problem?

No — most of our travellers book solo or as a pair. Coaching groups and match pools are set by level, not by who you arrived with, and single rooms are available for a supplement if you'd prefer your own space.

What standard do I need to be?

Anything from a few sessions of experience to 4.0+ league level. Each trip lists the levels it runs, and you complete a short self-assessment before travelling so we can group you properly. The Algarve camp is the most beginner-friendly.

How do I pay, and what's the cancellation policy?

Bookings are taken online with a £250 deposit by card; the balance is due six weeks before departure. Cancel more than eight weeks out and the deposit is transferable to another VamosPadel trip within 12 months. Inside six weeks we'll try to resell your place from the waitlist. Travel insurance is a condition of booking.

What kit should I bring?

Your own racket if you have one, clay or all-court padel shoes, and more kit than you think — you'll be playing twice a day in the heat. Balls are provided, and demo rackets from our partner brands are on site if you want to try something new.

Can you run a private trip for my club or company?

Yes. Private groups from 10 players get their own dates, a tailored coaching plan and a bespoke price. Tell us your group size, level spread and rough week through the contact form and we'll put an itinerary together.

Next departure: Marbella, 15 November 2026.

Twelve places, four already gone. Secure yours with a £250 deposit, or send us a note if you'd rather talk it through first.
